Cross-cultural e-learning classes 

There is no ideal time for personal coaching? You want to explore further what you have learned already? Or personal training is not possible for other reasons? Our e-learning classes are here to help. Employees can deepen their knowledge when, where and as long as they want – always focusing on their new assignments in their target country.  

We offer two options: the first one is basic cross-cultural training. Step by step, employees learn how culture influences our lives and how others organize their communities. As a second option, we introduce different topics about business culture and ethics, meetings and presentations and negotiations for a variety of countries. Here they find basic knowledge about their new host country and acquire valuable behavioral skills for a successful stay.

Almost everyone nowadays works in a “cross-cultural” environment. Our basic training raises awareness of that and will help developing personal skills for navigating mixed-cultural workspaces.

Cross-cultural basic training 

What is culture and how does it influence my thinking and behavior? In our basic training, we provide answers and discover how different cultures organize themselves. We build bridges by identifying common values in different cultures and by discovering cultural interfaces to follow similar goals. We demonstrate how to stay true to your own culture and at the same time apply “new cultural languages”. 

One country, one course, three months

Our 90-minutes e-learning classes are designed to provide compact knowledge that can be completed, repeated and tried out in a short amount of time – for 14 different countries and two regions world-wide. Three months ahead of departure is the ideal period to prepare, to independently master the first steps in the host country and to reflect and work on behavioral details. 

Seeing is believing

Getting to know a new location by visualizing yourself in it before the departure? Simulating a specific business situation to find out how things may unfold and then go over different scenarios? Our e-learning modules provide inspiration for many different business topics to help see yourself in a new environment and come up with your own strategies.

Of course! We offer trainings in a variety of countries to prepare your employees’ stay in Germany, but we can also organize coaching after their arrival here.Additionally, we have e-learning classes specifically for Germany in our repertoire: “Business Culture Germany” and “Living in Germany”. Our Global Mobility Platform provides a realm of information about sending employees to Germany as well. There are a lot of options!

Most participants, who stayed abroad before, have already proven themselves and know exactly how to prepare for it and where to access relevant information. Yet, over the course of the years, a lot can happen; it is important to say good-bye and also to manage loss that will be experienced when relocating again. There are also a lot of questions regarding their own identity. Taking time for new inspiration and reenergizing is important for a fresh start and our seminars help with these aspects of the relocation.Certainly, our training includes country specific information, since even places that used to feel like “home” have changed over time and it is hard to keep up with those changes.After our training, in many instances a lot of experienced participants make comments like: “I wished I had known this earlier!”
