Steffen acquired his Masters in cultural and business studies at the University of Passau, lived in Indonesia and has been working in the intercultural industry for more than 20 years. He has been focusing on combining in-person training with online-learning long before the Covid pandemic. Through his work with crossculture academy and Globiana, he has established a huge network of intercultural activists. Since Steffen worked as a coach himself, it is important to him that coaches and trainers are extremely well-qualified and know how to cater to the unique requirements of each individual trainee.
Additionally, Steffen works as an executive on the board of SIETAR Deutschland, a professional organization in Germany for people working in the intercultural industry. He is also volunteering and a sought-after consultant, such as participating in Germany’s leading consumer organization “Stiftung Warentest” in regards to quality intercultural training.
